CoreRelate was built to reduce the risk of missed deadlines and improve practice group efficiency through comprehensive legal calendaring and litigation docketing. With Schedule Assist, we build on that foundation by helping firms process and schedule court documents more efficiently – while keeping legal professionals in full control.

From Court Document to Review Queue and Professional Decision Making

When reviewing documents such as scheduling orders and case management orders, accurately identifying which dates belong on the calendar is critical and time-consuming.

Schedule Assist allows users to upload a court document directly into the existing Schedule Wizard. The document is scanned using AI, and deadline text and associated dates are extracted and placed into a review queue. A docketing clerk or other legal professional then determines what should be scheduled for the matter.

Not every date in a court document should be scheduled, and some deadlines depend on other events. With Schedule Assist, extracted deadlines can be scheduled, modified, or excluded. Schedule Assist supports key dates and dependent dates, allowing reviewers to structure the schedule appropriately.

Built Into the Schedule Wizard and Aligned With Your Firm’s Activity Types

Schedule Assist is built directly into the Schedule Wizard with a clean and intuitive interface. An important feature of Schedule Assist is its alignment with each firm’s customized activity types. The extracted deadlines are matched to an activity type from the firm’s existing list.

The predicted activity type can be changed by the reviewer, and the system improves future predictions based on that feedback. This ensures that scheduling from a scanned court document fits naturally into the way your firm already manages its calendar.
