MatterLink 4.2 Matter Related Parties

MatterLink is the place to organize matter information (details, notes, document management links, schedule data), and now including Related Parties. The Matter Editor has a new Related Parties tab which displays both contacts and organizations that are connected to the matter.
Related parties can be defined with multiple roles in the matter. This is common, for example, in Estate Administration matters where the same contact has multiple responsibilities.
In addition to viewing the “related party” information on the matter, you can also find the information “from the contact” on the Contact’s Connections/Matters tab.
Matter Role Customized Lists
Particular types of matter roles can be created on your firm’s customized lists for Matter Contact Role and Matter Organization Role. For you Litigation practice group, the Related Parties feature can easily be applied to tracking the matter service lists, with the addition of a ‘Service List’ role.
