LegalBar Templates

When integrated with MatterLink, LegalBar 4.8.56 Templates module has been upgraded to take advantage of MatterLink 4.2 Organizations and Related Parties features.

Organizations

LUCI, our traditional tool for pulling contact information into documents, has been enhanced to do the same with Organization data.  The following screen capture is LUCI on the Word ribbon Insert tab – the same Organization feature is being added to Correspondence dialogs in upcoming LegalBar releases.

Repeating Block for Matter Related Parties

The “related party with multiple role” feature in MatterLink 4.2 (read blog post) has important benefits for document assembly.  LegalBar’s Variable Builder and document Fill-In features have  been updated with an all new repeating block capability for iterating through a list of matter contacts in a given role within the matter. In the screen captures here, the Certificate of Service has been populated by a repeating block that pulls matter related parties with a customized role of ‘Service List’ from MatterLink.

Coming Soon – LegalBar 4.9: Ribbon tools for Pleading and Correspondence; Letter Express. Please note that all LegalBar VBA and COM add-ins are compatible across CoreRelate versions, so you can upgrade LegalBar when you are ready. On upgrade to CoreRelate/MatterLink 4.2, new capabilities become “visible” within LegalBar.
