(Build 4.1.4932 on November 15, 2019)

The November 2019 release of CoreRelate applications (MatterLink, Docket Enterprise, Assemble-It and LegalBar) is now available.

To download the update, visit the CoreRelate download page. (Valid login credentials are required.)  The download page also includes monthly and cumulative release notes.

New Customized Body Text

For Outlook items sent by Docket Enterprise, we have a new body text template to simplify and improve the readability of these items.

The types of items include:

  • Docket Activities on Outlook calendars
  • Docket Tasks on Outlook task lists
  • Calendar Reminders for activities and tasks
  • Email Reminders for activities and tasks

Here is an example of the new format for a Docket activity:

New body text format

To use the new formats, you must upgrade to 4.1.4932, of course.  Following that, pull in the newly developed Office 365 template for each item type in each workgroup.

Customize Your Own

You can also customize the content of these items for your firm’s needs (or your separate workgroups’ needs.) If our default formats contain too much information, you can simplify.  If you would like to add a built-in matter field that is not there by default, you can do that.  If you want to re-order the content, that’s easy too.

Body text formats are written in HTML and can be formatted with CSS or standard HTML tags.  To customize extensively, knowledge of HTML and CSS is necessary.  However, if you want to make a small change (add data, re-order content, change a bold heading), it is possible to follow the pattern in the built-in template and make the change in our new body text editor.  It is explained thoroughly in online Help, or you can contact us for assistance.

We hope your Docket users enjoy your body text customizations in their Outlook calendars!
